Canon’s new Powershot G6 — if you haven’t heard of it, that’s because it hasn’t been announced — may have had a little slip on the French shopping site Fnac.com; good for us, because that means PhotographyBlog got to scoop up all the details. A 7.1-megapixel sensor is probably the main new thing, along with a new silver-tone body, but the 3x optical zoom leaves a little to be desired. Sure, that’s standard these days, but I’m starting to get fussy about it. Can’t we get a 5x at least?
