Reader Fazal Majid writes in enthusiastically about his new Canon DR-2080C color high-speed document scanner:
[It’s] a really neat little scanner (the size of a very compact printer) that can really cut the paper tiger down to size. It can scan both sides of up to 50 sheets of paper at a time, at 20 sheets per minute (thus 40 pages per minute if dual-sided). I use it to scan payslips, bank statements and the like to PDF files before getting rid of most of them and reducing the amount of paper I keep in my filing cabinets.
