If you’re a new science fiction writer in your 50s, 60s or 70s, you have a unique opportunity to get some support. The Speculative Literature Foundation is accepting applications for its Older Writers Grant. The award gives $750 to a writer 50 years or older, who’s just starting out in speculative fiction. There are no restrictions on how you use the money, but you do have to submit an autobiographical statement, a writing sample and a bibliography. [Speculative Literature Foundation]
