Cellular Jewelry, A Real Life Blink Tag

JOEL JOHNSON

Reading time 1 minute

Cool in a gimmicky, Hot Topic sort of way, Cellular Jewelry is a $20 bracelet that lights up whenever the wearer (or anyone else one to three feet away) receives a phone call. What’s more, the bracelets (they also have watches and a pen) continue to flash the entire time a phone is in use. At first I was intrigued, thinking it was a paired Bluetooth device or something, but no, it’s just an LED radio flasher. Still, it would be fun for a while and even potentially useful if you had your phone on a silent ringer. A bracelet with Caller ID would be better, but there I go thinking again. [Thanks, Tim!]
