CERN may not have discovered the “God particle,” but these photos of the facility by engineer Ricardo Hurtubia are almost enough to inspire religious levels of awe. Glowy energy balls, weird shapes, trippy lights… it’s all like the mind-bending science fiction film we’ve been waiting for. Appropriately, almost every photo is labeled “science fiction” on Hurtubia’s Flickr stream.
