Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)

Don’t be turned off by this film because of its claymation style. It is an absolute classic as Hermey, an outcast elf who doesn’t want to make toys but wants to be a dentist, and Rudolph, who is ignored by the other reindeer for his red nose, become the unlikeliest of friends. They set off in search of a place they can be fully accepted.
During their travels the meet Yukon Cornelius who is in search of silver and gold, and together, the three adventure across the snowy terrain, trying to avoid the snow monster and make it to the island of misfit toys. The island plays host to toys who worry they’ll never find a home with a child, including a boat that doesn’t float, a spotted elephant, and a Charlie in the Box. Hermey, Rudolph, and Yukon promise to speak with Santa to bring the toys the Christmas miracle they have always dreamed of.
A different take on the classic story, this is one you won’t want to miss!
