MTV has released a new trailer for their found footage superhero movie Chronicle, and it smacks of Cloverfield with a sprinkling of Misfits. Plus it stars the wonderful Michael B. Jordan (The Wire, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights). Watch it now!
We’re pretty exhausted with the whole “found footage” genre, and yet there’s something strangely appealing about this flick, here’s the official synopsis:
Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to them developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities, and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.
Chronicle will open on February 3rd, 2012.
