I probably should have mentioned this in the previous Sony Ericsson story, but it looks like Cingular will be getting an exclusive clamshell called the Z500A any day now. Although it’s nice (if plain) looking, it has a fair amount of features, as well, including EDGE support (nice to see this creeping down to mid-range phones), push-to-talk, and a built-in MP3 player. Apparently they’ve taken out a two-page ad in Wired mag in the Novemeber issue, so Cingular must be pretty proud.
Plus I like their joystick. It looks like a pretty flower.
