As if there’s not enough crap in the consumer electronics market right now, Cisco Systems has decided to throw in its hat, announcing its plans to sell phones, radios and even home theater equipment—all to link up to the Internet. Obviously, Cisco believes its networking superiority will give it a leg up in this community, though I’m not sure how consumers will take to the idea. We’ll let you know when we see the first product.
