Cisco’s Voice over WiFi phone

Cisco’s getting into the Voice over WiFi game with a new phone that connects to an 802.11b network to make Voice over IP telephone calls. The 7290 is designed to be used on corporate campuses where WiFi is prevalent (and where they already use Cisco’s Voice over IP telephone system), but the ultimate goal here has to be not a separate WiFi phone, but regular cellphones that come with built-in WiFi and can roam from seamlessly WiFi to 3G.
