We spoke to a Motorola iDEN devices rep and confirmed that the Motorola i880 and i885 we posted about are NOT cross platform, dual-mode phones. They’re only iDEN with PTT functionality that work on Nextel’s service.

However, the Motorola ic502 and ic902, with the “c” monicker, are dual-mode and work with CDMA and have PTT on iDEN. Gomennasai.
