In the heart of the city of Tirana, Albania, you can see a strange housing development rising. The new buildings of Tirana Lake look like they are collapsing in a disordered pile.
Created by MVRDV, the neighborhood will contain a great deal of living space and offices, as well as public parks and other recreational areas. Both of these images are models of what the area will look like after construction is finished, some time after 2010. The project is called Tirana Rocks, because local rocks will be used in constructing the buildings.
