And going overboard with the digital video recorder news this week, Comcast is close to rolling out their own set-top digital video recorder/cable box nationwide. The box itself will be an 80GB model from Motorola that should be able to record high-definition programming. Needless to say, not particularly good news for TiVo or any of the other standalone digital video recorders.
