An anonymous source sent us information about an upcoming MP3 player from Creative, rumored to be called the ‘Creative Zen Neeon.’ The 6GB hard disk-based player shares a lot of similarities with the Zen Micro, but is intended to appeal to those who might find the Zen Micro too gauche. Instead, the Neeon comes in a piano-black finish, with 7 changeable LED colors, and 10 back-plate covers. The battery is said to be non-removable, which is a step backwards from the removable battery on the Zen Micro. It looks remarkably similar to the Creative Zen Xtra.
