New wireless charging station for gadgets, this one from Splashpower. Devices fitted with its “SplashModule” will recharge whenever set atop a “SplashPad”. I didn’t think these were really all that necessary until I got to the point where I am now – two laptops, two PDAs, a Blackberry, two digital cameras, a cellphone, and an MP3 player – and finding enough places to plug them all in isn’t easy, not to mention the fact that my desk has become an endless sea of cables. Hopefully SplashPower will give the SplashModule technology away to electronics manufacturers and realize that the real money is in selling the SplashPads.
