The Cyruslink audio system is a powerful music library system in three parts: the Linkserver forms the hub, with a 250GB hard drive, multiple-levels of MP3 compression [Uncompressed; 128kb/s; 192VBR and 320kb/s], and four separate analog or digital outs to play different tracks in multiple locations; the amplified Linkport, which provides up to six separate remote access points to the music library over Ethernet or WiFi, including streaming of internet radio; and the Linkwand, software that can control the entire media server setup via a WiFi-equipped Pocket or Tablet PC, as well as double as a general-purpose A/V remote.
The Linkstation can be had for the bargain-basement price of $6,300 for the 250GB model, with the Linkport and Linkwand selling for $1,160 and $360, respectively. Hooray for that rocking dollar-to-pound exchange rate!
