We don't know from telecom business, but rumors are burbling that Deutsche Telekom is in the process of shucking off their American subsidiary, better known as T-Mobile. With the merger of Sprint and Nextel, T-Mo is way in last place, with no plans for moving to a 3G network on the table.
I was pretty sure T-Mobile was still growing its subscriber base and making money, however, so it's hard to say if there's a reason for Deutsche Telekom to ditch it. Thank goodness I'm too broke to invest, which means I only have to skim these articles.
