Prototype from NEC of a cellphone with a built-in tuner for watching digital television broadcasts. It would help if there were actually some digital TV programming to watch. There aren’t yet, but digital broadcasts should begin in Japan by the end of the year, which is at least a year before a commercial version of this phone could be introduced.
