A French Star Wars and quadcopter fan Olivier C. built himself this Millennium Falcon with a few relatively simple steps, and then took the thing out for a test flight. No word on whether he has a Wookie co-pilot.
On the other hand, its battery life seems to be roughly the same as the originals in The Empire Strikes Back. Granted, no one’s hunting this one, so it can safely recharge a bunch. A detailed breakdown of the build is onimgur, in case you’re interesting in trying it out. He’s working on a TIEnext, which makes an Empire-style battle seem likely.
