Cory Doctorow has shared his iTunes DRM horror story over on that BoingBoing pogo-stick/jackhammer industry weblog he contributes to. It’s interesting to hear such a negative take on the FairPlay DRM system by someone that is such an obvious Apple die-hard—someone who has spent a lot of money to try to play within the system, but even then is ripped off, mixed up, and burned.
I think iTunes FairPlay system is the best of the DRM bunch, but that’s sort of saying that I think this stick is my favorite to poke in my eye because it’s the least pointy.
