A couple of pieces of TiVo-related news today. A new DVD/DVR from Toshiba that combines a progressive scan DVD player with an 80GB hard drive TiVo digital video recorder. The SD-H400 will also be the first TiVo to use the company’s new Basic service, a stripped down version of its full service that doesn’t require any monthly subscription fees.
