Although it isn’t listed on their English site yet, the EMP-Z II, the follow up to Korea-based Eratech’s EMP-Z is, as they say in my imaginary version of France, “a nice looking shiny egg”. Although I don’t know much about it, I also don’t think there is much to know, really. It comes in 128/256/512MB storage varieties, has USB (just 1.1), and obviously some mechanism for viewing pictures. It’s also very cute, and very wearable.

Update: Reader Peter Cho (who, as a Korean-American, has a base score of 85% Read Languages [Korean/English] and a d6+3 to-hit bonus per level) told me the EMP-Z II has a 16-hour rechargable battery, too, which is pretty cool, when it comes to ‘using’ and such.
