eSommelier is a management server for wine collectors. Little more than a touch screen and a hard drive, the system allows users to search its database of over 130,000 wines based on country, vintage, winery and sassy name. Users can also add notes to each entry describing taste, body and quality and manage their collection from anywhere in the world via eSommelier’s ethernet port. Very useful for jet-setting wine aficionados, but on my budget I’d just use it to classify various types of mouth wash and lighter fluid—with a price tag running upwards of $5000, this only for the hardcore wine guzzler.
