Why does making a 3D model have to be so hard? You’ve got to learn how to use complex software and then, on top of it all, you need to develop some sort of artistic eye! No thanks, that all sounds like too much work for me. I prefer to have machines to the heavy lifting for me.
Enter the faceSCAN III. It’s a fancy camera that can create lifelike 3D models of people’s faces by taking a series of pictures. Unfortunately, buying talent isn’t cheap, as the faceSCAN II was a hefty $40,000. No word on how much the III will cost, but it’s safe to say it’ll stay around that price range.
