This week saw the announcement of Fallout 4 — and just in time was the announcement that Funko are continuing to somehow get their hands on every brand around, with new toys based on the franchise. Stop gathering your bottlecaps, because these little guys will be the new way we barter in the nuclear apocalypse.
Funko’s latest wave of Pop! Vinyl figures is based on the works of legendary game developers Bethesda, taking influences from Fallout, the massively popular Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and the spinoff MMO Elder Scrolls Online. Given the announcement of the fourth Fallout though, it’s the post-apocalyptic RPG that gets the bulk of the toys: Aside from the adorable mascot character Vault Boy above, there will be 3.75” tall figures based on Male and Female versions of the Fallout 3 protagonist “The Lone Wanderer”, the iconic power-armoured soldiers of the Brotherhood of Steel, and toys based on some of the series’ enemies (Deathclaws, Supermutants and Feral Ghouls).
From Skyrim there’ll be a toy based on the protagonist, the dragon-powered warrior dubbed the Dovahkiin, a Daedric Warrior and one of the Dragons from the game. Elder Scrolls Online gets some representation with characters based on three of the playable races: a Nord, a High Elf, and a Breton.
The Bethesda inspired Funko Pops will set you back around $10 each, and will be available in July and August to satiate your desperate desire for more Fallout and Elder Scrolls news.
