A keyboard without any key travel or spring-loaded der klikken would drive me nuts, but you’ve got to admire the dedication to integration the FingerWorks Zero-Force keyboards show: basically touchpads with keyboard overlays, the typing surface doubles as a giant mousepad, making all the swooshy swoops and gestures that you kids are into just a spasm away. They’ve even got a version that replaces the keyboards in the newest iBooks and Powerbooks, if you want to ruin a perfectly good laptop. Gizmodo reader Kurt Hilbert got one, though, and he loves it. Keep in mind Kurt has giant lobster claws for hands.
