The first five minutes of Blindness has turned up online. So judge for yourself if the blind truly are being portrayed poorly, as the actual blind are protesting. And while you’re at it, go ahead and pose the moral question upon yourself. If your friend had just gone blind, would you steal their wallet and lead them up a flight of stairs, offer assistance, or hide on the sidelines? For me, it all depends on what friend.

After viewing this I’m going to have to admit that I enjoyed the blurry almost “milky” out of focus shots with the strange music. Although I can see how an entire movie of this would get real old, real fast. Still I’m optimistic for its weekend debut.
