The first laptop to run Lindows, that version of the Linux operating system that is supposed to be able to run lots of Windows applications, comes out next month. The Lindows Mobile PC weighs just 2.9 pounds, and comes with a 12.1-inch screen, 933Mhz processor, 256MB of RAM, and a 20GB hard drive. At $799 though, it doesn’t seem like quite as good a deal as the Lindows desktop PCs.
