First cellphone from Siemens that runs Series 60, that new Symbian-based cellphone operating system that Nokia and other handset manufacturers are pushing hard in opposition to Microsoft Smartphone. The SX1 has a 16-bit color screen, a built-in digital camera, video and MP3 player, FM radio, and instead of a regular keypad, it has two strips of keys running down the side of the phone. Not sure whether this will make tapping out text messages faster or slower, but we’ll soon find out, as the SX1 is slated to be out in Europe and Asia by June.
