First details of the next generation of Windows Mobile phones from HTC (the folks who make pert’ near every Windows Mobile smartphone out there) are creeping up, although they are far from officially confirmed. The HTC ‘Wizard’ is reported by Mozongo to be a replacement for the i-Mate JAM/MDA Compact and should be showing up sometime in early 2006. It’s not a beast, features-wise (I’m surprised there’s no 3G radio), but it does have a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which takes it up about five notches in our book.
