It’s going to be a long shot, but it’s one I’m willing to fire: Seattle’s Space Needle is running a contest that will get one lucky person up in space. It’s not going to be the ISS, but I’m game.

You will have to be picked with 999 other entries by November 30, 2011. Once you are picked, you will have to create a video pitch. One of the one thousand people will get a free ticket for a sub-orbital flight.

There are other prizes too, like a ticket to fly on a G-Force One to experience zero gravity, as well as a Celestron NexStar 8SE Telescope, a Breitling Aeromarine Colt Quartz watch, a SuperCade Upright Classic Arcade Machine and a Seattle & Space Needle Adventure A trip for two in 2012.
