From The Shadows.Tv: Episode 1 Review

Ignoring the fact that the entire thing is swimming in a bath of X-treme testosterone, I am not entirely repelled by the first episode of ‘From The Shadows,’ a new online video show from the boys who brought you the Bluetooth sniper rifle. They want you to know very clearly that it’s “not TV;it’s dot TV,” which is how I’m going to end every Gizmodo post from now on (“It’s not blog. It’s dot blog. Actually, dot com.”).

While there isn’t exactly a whole lot of content you can apply to your daily lives (unless you spend a lot of time hanging out on LA streetcorners, if you boil it all down, it’s short (in a good, ‘get in, get out’ way), fun-to-watch, well edited, and features the first free falling wireless gaming ever to be recorded on camera.

It’s a little MTV/G4 for my tastes, but I was charmed, I’ll admit. If they get even more nerdy in the future (even considering they are releasing a white paper about the results of their wireless tests in extreme environments soon), I’ll keep watching. My suggestion? Skateboarding lumberjacks running nmap against a Gibson.
