Not to be outdone by Yamaha and their silly “pedal taxis“, Toyota has built an entire bus that runs on fuel cells. Called the Intelligent Multimode Transit System (it’s a hybrid), these buses of the future are poised and prepped to move people around the World Expo without contributing too much to our atmosphere’s declining health.

(Update: Hey, so apparently every other progressive city on Earth already has fuel cell buses and was just keeping quiet about it. Word from readers Scott and Sigur ur has it Mercedes has had them running in a few European cities for awhile now, and they’ve been floating around in Reykjav k, Iceland since 2003. Thanks guys!)
