Having a good camera baked into our phones is both a blessing and a curse. Yes, it is extremely useful and practical for everyone to pretty much always have a camera on them that they can pull out at a moment’s notice.

The downside though is many of the photos we take feel disposable and go nowhere. They just take up room in your camera roll and are forgotten. A return to physical prints can make our photos feel special again. That’s why the Fujifilm Instax Mini EVO Instant Camera makes for an excellent gift.

A Mode For Every Mood

From the camera directly, you have 10 different lens lengths you can use as well as 10 film effects that can be applied. This opens up 100 combinations of dynamic, evocative shots you can take. The camera also lets you make adjustments before taking your photo, tweaking the exposure, white balance, turn on macro mode for close-ups, or toggle the flash. It also supports a self-timer.

Images get saved to a microSD card, but do now that it does now come with an microSD. That must be purchased separately. You can also access your images via the free, downloadable Instax Mini EVO app. Save them all in a handy digital format, making them easy to access for when posting to your socials. Or you can print a new copy of it on the fly from the print gallery. The app also has filters you can add as well as let you make adjustments to the brightness, contrast and saturation as well as let you crop, rotate, or make other tweaks. Just pair your phone with the Instax Mini EVO camera.

Pairing the camera with your phone also lets you use it as a remote shutter button, making it super easy to setup and take portraits or yourself or group photos.
