Fujifilm's X10 Pro Point-and-Shoot Will Be Out in Early November for $600

Fujifilm's new pro-caliber X10 point-and-shoot just got a official price: $600, and it'll be out in early November. The X10 can't keep pace with its big brother the X100, but it's got all the features you'd expect from a high-end point-and-shoot, and it's a damn pretty sight, too.

What do you guys think: Is it enough to win you over at that price? [Fujifilm]

DISCUSSION

Full disclosure: I've never seen either of these cameras in person. However, I'm a camera geek from way back and I just gotta say that while the X100 is to die for, the X10 just ain't got it. That, I don't know, that je ne sais quoi, that aura, that "my life will never be complete without it", that zazz, that verve, that... well you get the idea. You just can't ugly it down that much and still give people the insanely great retro vibe they want for their own after seeing the X100. Without the class, it's just another PnS.

[Since Steve left us, I've decided to say "insanely great" at least once a day for inspiration]
