Even though ABC canceled Galavant, composer and executive producer Alan Menken (whose songs probably soundtracked your childhood) says it’s not over. So get ready for Galavant: LIVE!
No sooner had the news of Galavant’s cancelation come down than Menken took to twitter to reassure the fans:
GALAVANT is not continuing at ABC. But it will live on in so many ways. Guaranteed. Love to our cast, our writers, our fans!! Stay tuned…

While living on in “so many ways” could be vague, someone asked if he meant a stage version, which got an enthusiastic confirmation from Menken:

We have no other details, but, look, I think we all know that the perfect place for a live version of Galavant, a musical comedy making fun of medieval fiction tropes, is at the Excalibur hotel in Las Vegas, right?
