Yes, it's winter, and Gateway is confirming the season with five new eMachine-branded desktop and notebook computers. The four desktop PCs come with the NVIDIA GeForce 6100 graphic cards and a PCI Express slot and range from $349 to $549. The models include the T6420 Media Center PC with AMD Athlon 64 3400+ processor, 2GB of DDR memory (expandable to 4GB), 200GB hard drive and 6.1-channel surround sound; the T6216 with an Athlon 64 3200+ processor, 512MB of memory, 160GB hard drive and its operates on Windows XP; the T3410 with AMD Sempron 3400+ processor and a CD-RW/DVD drive and the entry-level T3304 with Sempron 3300+ processor, 256MB of memory and a 100GB hard drive.

The W4620 laptop is only available through Walmart and is selling for about $900. It weighs 5.5lb and a 15-inch display, as well as an AMD Turion 64 Mobile processor, 512MB of DDR memory, 80GB hard drive, dual-format double-layer DVD burner and internal 802.11g wireless networking.
