We’d heard through the grapevine that if you’re a Sprint PCS subscriber, and your service contract has expired, you could get a much better deal from them just by calling up customer service and telling them you want to cancel your plan. Turns out it’s true. They have a few unadvertised deals that are available only to their “veteran” subscribers, and Gizmodo’s humble editor just called up and switched from a $50 a month plan with 450 daytime minutes to a $40 a month plan with 750 daytime minutes.
