The retro gaming phenomenon in Japan is not limited to being able to play your old games on new systems. No, here, it s the style of gaming that also gets special treatment. Why be limited to an old console when a few tries at this UFO Catcher found in Akihabara can get you a TV remote shaped like a classic Famicom (what the NES was called here) controller. If you re feeling really lucky, go for the big one: a tricked-out tissue box made to look like the console itself—it also acts as a holder for the TV remote/controller. Time to get some claw practice in!
