Like almost every other Android user on the planet, I'm eagerly awaiting an Ice Cream Sandwich update on my handset. Google employees, however, have no such wait: they're lucky enough to have received it as an update on their Nexus S handsets.
The operating system was rolled out as an over-the-air update, Android Police report. This widespread employee testing is probably one of the final hurdles before Nexus S users everywhere start receiving OTA updates.
Amusingly, some Google employees thought it would be OK to tweet about their upgrade, which is how the news leaked. Sadly, most of the tweets have now been deleted - but they didn't really offer much insight anyway.
There's still no official word on when Ice Cream Sandwich will be released for the street Nexus S handsets, but this news suggests it won't be too long. Patience, young grasshopper. [Android Police]
