Gemini Working on a Sidepanel in Workspace
Google already has beta responses built into most of its Workspace apps, with tools like “help me write” and “help me organize.” Next month, Google’s sticking Gemini inside a special side panel for all users. This will appear in your regular Workspace apps, with a few suggestions based on the context in which you’re using it. For instance, Google showed it noting an email was a receipt, then offering the prompt to “help me organize and track my receipts.” This lets the user set up a drive folder or spreadsheet to help keep track of them all.
