Android 14 is Coming to TVs
Android TV OS is getting a big upgrade with Android 14 for TV. This comes with its own implementation of Gemini AI for Google TV, which will have more “AI-based recommendations” and new “AI-generated descriptions” of content appearing on your home screen.
Google promises this should make it a faster and “snappier” experience overall. The big new feature is the picture-in-picture mode supported by some supported TVs. This will allow users to see one stream happening in a separate part of the screen while they scroll through or watch some other content. Plus, it introduces a few more energy-saving modes and accessibility features, such as color correction, to make it a fair bit more navigable.
