Google is running a series of base camps in in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco where you can try out Glass, gratis.
CNET reports that Google is inviting anyone from the general public to “sit down with a Glass Guide.” If you head along to such a session, you’ll get to try out the headset yourself, under the watchful eyes of Google minion. You can take a second person along, too, as long as they’re over 13. You’ll need to schedule an appointment—you can’t just show up—which will then take place at one of Google’s existing Glass service centers in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
Whether a free trial is enough to convince many to part with t$1,500, though? Seems unlikely. [Google via CNET]
