GSM Watch Phone Headed Our Way if FCC Says Yes

Remember the M300 GSM phone? Yeah, probably not. The Australian company that makes it has just submitted its successor, the M500, to the FCC for approval. Here are the specs:

It’s got tri-band 900/1800/1900 GSM, has a touchscreen with a stylus, Bluetooth, miniUSB, 400mAh battery life that gives 120 minutes of talk time and a multimedia player for audio and video playback. Seriously, we’d be happy enough if they ditched all the extras and just focused on getting better battery life in a watch that makes calls. We’re not really going to be doing any movie watching on this thing.
