GuardianLion (which transforms into the protective codpiece of Voltron) has released its ‘Amber Alarm’ panic button, designed to be worn (and not lost) by kids for use in emergencies. One push of the Amber Alarm will send a signal to local 911 service, broadcasting an exact latitude and longitude of the frightened (or bored) child.
If it will really stop child thieves is anybody’s guess, but you can let your kid be the first on the block to try it for $350, plus a $40 a month fee. But can you really put a price on your child’s safety? (Yes.)
