Hilton Hotels are rolling out new radio alarm clocks to their rooms, complete with a line-in jack for plugging in your MP3 player. In addition, the new units are supposed to be a lot easier to set yourself, and can wake you up with the sound of one of four pre-set radio stations instead of the jarring clang of the hotel wake-up call (although, I sort of like that, especially when the friendly robot calls).
Of course, it’d be cooler if the clock could wake you up with your music, but that would probably morph into ‘iPod only.’ Line-in is the future!
