Check out this MangleFished translation about Hitachi’s new hybrid 400GB hard disk video recorder and DVD burner, the first in its ‘WOOO’ series of A/V products, which appears to allow burning of recorded shows to DVD-RAM, and DVD+RW/-RW. It’s a sign of something when (even a fairly full-featured) PVR has an 800MHz processor, although I don’t know if that quite justifies all the WOOOing. [Thanks, Johan!]
