Four months ago, Marvel showed fans at the D23 Expo and San Diego Comic-Con the first footage from this highly anticipated film, but didn’t release the footage online. It drove people crazy, but now, finally, we have this trailer.
Infinity War is the beginning of the end for the first major story arc of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will show the mad titan Thanos (Josh Brolin), who first appeared in 2012’s The Avengers, attempting to complete the Infinity Gauntlet in order to take over the galaxy. Fighting back will be every Marvel hero we’ve seen so far, starting in 2008’s Iron Man and going all the way up through the yet-to-be-released Black Panther.
Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4, 2018.
