We’ve noticed the Flash/Arrow universe contains a remarkable number of characters portrayed by professionally trained singers.

Grant Gustin (Barry Allen)

Jesse L. Martin (Joe West)

John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn)

Colin Donnell (Tommy Merlyn)

Andy Meintus (Hartley Rathaway/Pied Piper)

and Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein) all performed on Broadway.

While Colton Haynes (Roy Harper)…

…and Katie Cassidy (Laurel Lance) released singles:

Both Tom Cavanagh (Dr. Harrison Wells)…

… and Malese Jow (Linda Park) sang on TV.

Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold) was lead singer in the Princeton Tigertones (think Pitch Perfect)…

…and Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) studied voice.

Sadly, Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) doesn’t sing, but he certainly could pull off a talk/sing number, Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady-style.

What do you think? Would you love to see the Flash take down the Pied Piper in a sing-off, with a musical assist from the Black Canary and a Joe West/Malcolm Merlyn duet? Perhaps John Glover could come in as The Fiddler?

Or do you find musical episodes too obnoxious by half? Let us know! (Meaning my mom, who requested this very article.)

(Call your moms, everyone.)
