Early Prime Day deals are in full swing on Amazon, which means you don’t have to wait for the sale to officially kick off to start saving. The tech section has some of the best discounts right now, and one of our favorite offers is this 50% discount on the 14-inch HP Essential laptop.
This entry-level machine was already pretty affordable at $600, but you can grab it for just $300 today thanks to this offer. Windows 11 comes pre-installed, and you also get 1 TB of cloud storage, plus a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 with your purchase at no extra cost!
Easy to carry, made for basic tasks
There’s a lot to appreciate here. The laptop comes with a modest 14-inch display that works well for regular office tasks, streaming, video calls, and casual browsing. Visuals come through clearly, and the anti-glare coating cuts down on reflections for even better visibility. Reduced reflections also mean you’ll be able to comfortably work near windows and in brighter rooms without constantly adjusting the screen angle or increasing the brightness to an uncomfortable level.
The slim profile and the lightweight build make the thing convenient to carry around, as well. It’s compact enough to slide into any laptop bag (and even tote bags) without much trouble! As for performance, the machine runs on an Intel N150 processor, which can handle basic tasks like checking emails, browsing, editing documents, and making assignments with ease. It’s still an entry-level CPU, though, so we wouldn’t push it too hard with heavier workloads. Then there’s 4GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly, along with a 128GB SSD to store all your essential files.
Freebies include 1 TB of cloud storage that can house all the data you don’t want on your internal drive, plus a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365. The latter gives you access to apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, all of which are really useful for students and working professionals. You can create new documents, work through numbers, create presentations, take notes in class, manage emails, and do a lot more – without spending an extra penny for at least a year!
The 14-inch HP Essential laptop is currently discounted by 50% on Amazon, which brings its usual $600 price down to only $300. Freebies add even more value to the offer. Just note that the discount won’t be here for long, so it’s better to grab it as quickly as you can before it ends.
